Intel abandoned the line of NUC mini-computers, and Asus picked up
Asus fully presented the NUC 14 line of mini-computers, announced in January at CES 2024. The series includes two models — NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+. The key difference is that the NUC 14 Pro is equipped with processors with a TDP of up to 40W, while the NUC 14 Pro+ is equipped with a CPU with a TDP of up to 65W. These are 14-core Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, 16-core Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and 16-core Intel Core Ultra 9 185H.
Asus NUC 14 Pro+ received two SO-DIMM slots for installing DDR5-5600 RAM (up to 96 GB), one M.2 2280 and M.2 2242 connector each, an Intel AX211 adapter that implements wireless communication Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
On the rear panel of the device there are two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, two HDMI 2.1, one each of USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 2.0 Type-A and RJ-45.
