System76 updated Serval WS mobile workstations running Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS (or Ubuntu 22.04 LTS): the main and almost the only innovation – migration from Core i9-13900HX to the latest 24-core Core i9-14900HX.
The top-end CPU in these devices is combined with a GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop or GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop. The standard amount of RAM is DDR5-4800 – 16 GB, but optionally the RAM can be increased to 64 GB, with faster DDR5-5200 modules. The standard equipment includes a 500 GB SSD, in the top version – SSD 4 TB.
15-inch model is equipped with a 15.6-inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution and a frame rate of 165 Hz. The basic screen of the older model – with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a frame rate of 240 Hz, top-end – with a panel resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a frame rate of 144 Hz.
